All businesses/organizations serving alcohol at the event are required to provide a certificate of liability insurance specific to the event. The policy must include liquor liability coverage with limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate for general liability, as well as $1,000,000 in alcohol liability coverage.
The renter is fully responsible for any damage to the venue, including chairs, tables, furnishings, equipment, or other property, occurring during the rental period. The renter agrees to notify The Diatribe/The Retort of any damage and to cover the cost of repair or replacement. Liability is not limited by insurance and may include withholding of any security deposit to cover damages.
All individuals, businesses, and organizations renting the venue assume sole responsibility for the safety, supervision, and conduct of their guests. The Diatribe/The Retort shall bear no liability for any incidents, damages, or claims arising from guest actions or safety during the rental period.
