Khalilah (Poet Kym Truth) uses poetry to inspire others to see their greatness and as an outlet to bring awareness. A mental health ambassador, doula, and co-founder of SPEAK Sexual Abuse, her poetry centers around her lived experiences, transforming real-life pain into powerful art. A proud Libra rooted in fairness and balance she enjoys acting in plays, photography, traveling with family, watching Dragon Ball Z, and sweet potato fries with guacamole dip. Khalilah creates brave spaces for survivors and lived trauma to reclaim their voices.
