Director of development
The Director of Development is a key leadership role responsible for designing and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support The Diatribe, Inc. and its programs, including the Emory Arts & Culture Hub. This position works closely with the Executive Director to advance the organization’s financial sustainability through donor cultivation, grant writing, and community engagement.
The Director of Development leads efforts in securing philanthropic support from individuals, foundations, corporations, and public funding sources, while fostering relationships with board members, funders, and stakeholders who believe in the organization’s mission of art activism and social change.
This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, balancing the development of long-term fundraising plans with day-to-day operations such as grant management, campaign planning, and donor communications. The Director of Development also collaborates with the Director of Education and other team members to track program impact, support evaluation processes, and communicate the organization’s successes. This is a highly collaborative role for someone who thrives in a values-driven environment, is deeply committed to equity, and can inspire diverse audiences to invest in The Diatribe’s vision.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
