About
Kristin Zuller
Kristin Zuller is a multidisciplinary artist who believes in the transformative power of design and technology to uplift humanity. With a background in design, illustration, user experience design, and mural painting, she is constantly exploring new ways to merge these disciplines. She is deeply passionate, courageous, and inspired by the world.
Kristin is highly skilled in design and illustration, with extensive experience in print and digital media. The knowledge she gained during her 15+ year journey as a corporate designer, was integral to her understanding of large-scale mural creation throughout her city. She has had the privilege of working with some of the world’s leading companies and organizations. Somewhat ironically, a colleague mentioned she’d be a great UX (User Experience) Designer because of her passion for solving complex problems. She quickly became obsessed with user experience design, received her professional certification, and has been working in the field for three years. She is an advocate for user-centered design and believes that the user’s needs should always be put first.
Kristin desires to elevate those she serves through her creative direction. Always looking to push boundaries and experiment with new ideas, she has recently begun to explore the world of installation and interactive arts. Naturally, much of her work is the perfect amalgamation of her love for both visual communication and story-telling. She believes that design can play a role in liberating people and building community, and she strives to create work that is both beautiful, meaningful, and functional.
When she’s not working, she enjoys sleeping, documenting her dreams, spending time with family and friends, reading Octavia Butler texts, and exploring in nature.

Reclamation and liberation are two essential concepts that drive my work as a community advocate, artist, and human. As an artist, I use my work to reclaim spaces and stories that have been lost or forgotten. As an advocate for my community, I work to liberate marginalized communities from the oppression they experience. As a human being, I am committed to working for the liberation of all people. I believe that through education, empowerment, and engagement, everyone has the potential to reclaim what is rightfully theirs. Art liberates the human spirit. Ultimately, I see reclamation and liberation as expressions of love—love for oneself, love for one’s community, and love for humanity as a whole.
