Debra Reece

Debra Reece is a native of Grand Rapids, Michigan. She is a graduate of City Middle/High School. After graduation, she attended Grand Valley State University (GVSU) where she obtained a Bachelor’s of Business Administration. While attending GVSU, she was also in a cosmetology apprenticeship program. With hard work and dedication, she received her college degree and cosmetology license in the same year, while also working full time at the House of Style.

There’s never a dull moment with Debra. Her leadership qualities and her wit are a cut above.

Debra is an entrepreneur who owns two businesses in the 49507 zip code area, She has been an owner of the House of Style for over two decades and is also the minority owner of Stock Da Bar Vodka. Debra and her husband Daryl started their spirits business in 2019.

Debra has mentored a number of young adults in the 49507 area: She participates in the State of Michigan Cosmetology Apprenticeship Program and has been a mentor and a teacher to several apprenticeship students and has helped them acquire cosmetology licenses.

I support Diatribe because I love to invest in our youth. The youth are our future, so to see young adults thrive puts a big smile on my face. I’m proud of the good work Diatribe has done.
